The Ark is a dedicated cultural centre for children. We create opportunities for children, along with their families and friends or with their school, to discover and love art. Through our work with leading Irish and international artists children can enjoy performances in our unique child-sized theatre, view engaging exhibitions or participate in creative workshops.

Free Entry! Visit a weird and wonderful collection of animal sculptures. Along with a brand new limestone seal, amongst these quirky, lovable animals you will find a flying horse, a tortoise with a secret story and a toucan in disguise!
FINAL WEEKEND! This is your chance to work with artist and shape-shifter, Jole Bortoli, who will help you explore the world of animals through drawing and painting, 3D construction, and sculpting.
