Artist Paula Henihan delivers gentle, creative workshops for Ages 2-4 based on an engaging story about Beatrice the Bee and her busy bee friends.
A musical show for Ages 6+ filled with buzzing and songs, dancing and flying. Oh and you’ll learn lots of important things about bees along the way!
What does it mean to be a child in 2016? This special event to launch and introduce The Ark’s new Children’s Council, gives a voice to children from across Dublin and a platform to express their views and wishes for Ireland of the future.
As Ireland looks back at its first 100 years as a nation, we are celebrating the children of today with a FREE arts programme. We invite children to come and create a portrait of themselves using photography, drawing and writing.
The Ark have invited some of Ireland's leading portrait artists to be part of 'Put Yourself in the Picture' and you could win the chance to be drawn by them! For Ages 7+
One of the first ever projects to take place in The Ark when we opened in 1995 was called 'Faces in The Windows', where photographs of children were displayed in the windows of the building to show the world who The Ark had been created for.
A fun and creative session with artist Jane Groves that introduces young children (Ages 2-4) to simple portraiture.
