Aidan Courtney is the editor of the comic magazine RíRá, with its groundbreaking mission to make comics in Irish with the best talent in Ireland. In this engaging workshop, Aidan will show participants how to script and draw comics, with a focus on storytelling. The workshop can be conducted totally through Irish or bi-lingually.

Attending and reflecting on this performance will explore the priority area of literacy and many key strands of the English curriculum including Receptiveness to language, Competence and confidence in using language, Developing cognitive abilities through language and Emotional and imaginative development through language as well as elements of the Visual Arts Curriculum. It also explores the Gaeilge Curaclam particularly the Éisteacht (Listening) and Scríbhneoireacht (Writing) strands.
