School Workshops: Creature Characters! 6 - 7 Jun 2024

After a visit to The Beautiful Beasts exhibition, viewing the mighty creatures and using nature as an inspiration, you will create characters and stories, learn about animals and the environment, and connect with the world around you.

Award-winning animator Eimhin McNamara will demonstrate how you can use photographic references to design characters and come up with stories using techniques used in animation production. He will show tips on using shape language to construct a character and develop a story through sketching and use of paper cutout, crayons & markers.
