Sunday 2 December, 3pm

The Magic of Music run creative music classes and workshops in schools across Dublin, and a selection of students participating in the programme will present their favourite music, from pop to rock to musical theatre, with some seasonal fun thrown in for good measure! We look forward to supporting their very first experience performing at The Ark.

Sunday 9 December, 3pm

An energetic combination of samba and traditional Irish music forms the line-up for this exciting performance by children. MaSamba run percussion workshops for children in the Brazilian percussion music known as samba from their rehearsal space in the Liberties. They will share the programme with Ceoltoirí Chlain Tarbh, a highly active Irish traditional music organisation running classes for children in Clontarf.

Sunday 16 December, 3pm

Children from Crumlin and Ballyfermot join forces for what promises to be a very interesting performance. The youngest students (age 6) from Kylemore College will present their very first public performance, along with solo and duet performances by older children who take part in music programmes at The Base in Ballyfermot. The second half of the programme will feature an ensemble of talented young string players (aged 10-12) who are part of the inspirational orchestral music progamme running in St. Agnes’s in Crumlin.
