The Grumpy Old Man & The Beautiful Garden

Based on The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde

Join Joanna Parkes for this interactive storytelling workshop for children aged 3 - 5 and their grown-ups. Neurodivergent little ones are most welcome to this relaxed workshop. Once there was a beautiful garden where the children loved to go and play. But the garden belongs to a grumpy old man who doesn’t like children and doesn’t want to share his garden with anyone else. So he builds a high wall and tells the children to go away. But the sun can’t get over the high wall and it becomes a cold, dark place.

Can we show the old man it’s better to share the garden and let everyone enjoy it?

A fun and interactive drama and story workshop about looking after and sharing the natural environment.
