Marvellous Beasts and their Fantastic Homes
Part 1
Join illustrator Duffy Mooney-Sheppard in this imaginative drawing workshop. Come play drawing games to invent your own fantastical beasts. Inspired by real and imaginary animals, we will chop and change and add and take away until you have created something quite unusual and very unique. Spend time discovering what it eats and how it lives. In part two we will invent a landscape and home for your creature to live in.
Part 2
Inspired by the needs of your unique creature invented in part one, we will draw a home for your creature or creatures to live in. Is it vegetarian or a carnivore? Maybe it eats pineapples or bugs or stars? Does it like to live on land, sky or sea? Let’s find out how your creature spends its days. By the end of the workshop, you will have composed an image telling the story of your marvellous beast and its fantastical home.
