Making Waves by Jess Rowell is an immersive multi-sensory dance theatre performance designed specifically for disabled children & young people aged 8 to 13 years with mild to complex needs.
Climb on board for a magical sea voyage in which the audience and performers set sail in search of hidden treasure. Join the adventure and be transported by the ebb and flow of the ocean through gentle soothing currents and on into the dynamic rhythmic beat of crashing waves.
Meet a school of fluorescent fish and see the swooping gulls. Let the wind fill your sails and carry you along accompanied by a sensitively evocative sound score written by composer Stefan French.
On your arrival, you will be greeted by the performers in the foyer, invited into the theatre and guided to your seats in the boats. These pods are suitable for wheelchair users.
