Work in Progress: Soft Senses 24 Oct 2023
Babies from birth to 12 months and their grown-ups are invited to participate in a free workshop with artist Grainne O'Carroll to support the development of a new show, Soft Senses.
The workshops will explore sensory performance, installation, textiles, movement and sound. Your participation will help Grainne in creating her show for babies and will be an enjoyable sensory experience for your baby and you.
Visual artist Vicky Langan, dancer Rocio Domingues, composer Gareth Averill (remote/pre-production) and videographer Neil Harrison will collaborate with Gráinne on this work in progress.
After the workshop, there will be some more time for play.
As this is a developmental process, the workshop will be filmed and photographed, and all participants are required to sign a consent form. If you aren't comfortable with this, we understand, but kindly request that you please do not book a place.
