Teddy Bear Story Exhibition 8 Feb - 6 Apr 2014

Teddy Bear Story, a V&A Museum of Childhood touring exhibition, alongside a beautiful collection of other exhibits and displays celebrating our cuddly friends.

Every bear has a story to tell…

Meet a special collection of well-loved furry faces at The Ark as we celebrate the success of one of the world’s favourite toys.

From the original German Steiff bears through to Were Bears and Care Bears, Teddy Bear Story has old bears, some rare bears and even some famous bears for you to meet. We also have a gorgeous collection of photographic portraits from photographer Mark Nixon’s Much Loved book as well as Irish-made teddy bears on loan from The Dolls Store Hospital & Museum.

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate your family’s treasured childhood friends at The Ark. Your teddy bear gets in for free, so don’t leave him home alone!

Members of The Ark's Family Membership scheme get in to Teddy Bear story as many times as they want for free. A family of four would only have to visit 3 times to save the equivilant of the €60 membership fee! Join today to activate the benefits.

The V&A is one of the world’s greatest museum of art and design and its Museum of Childhood is home to one of the finest collections of children’s toys, dolls’ houses, games and costumes.
