The Mask of the Four Temperaments 27 Nov 2013

A physical and theatrical workshop for teachers with Annabelle’s Star co-author and director Raymond Keane

Hippocrates identified that people tend to have a dominant temperament: choleric, sanguine, melancholic, or phlegmatic. Looking at the dominant temperament of primary school-aged children can be a helpful way to promote understanding in the adults who care for them. Teachers attending this workshop will experience the temperaments through the use of masks and theatrical performance, and will leave with a well-rounded understanding of the topic.
