#ARK25 - 25 Years Young!

Join us in celebrating our 25th Birthday by supporting the #ARK25 Opportunities Fund and help ensure every child's right to art and culture.

Since 1995, The Ark has created magical and memorable cultural experiences for children, welcoming over 600,000 people to our home in Temple Bar.

As a dedicated children's cultural centre, we create opportunities for children aged 2-12, along with their families and friends or with their school, to discover and love art. Typically, through our work with leading Irish and international artists, children can enjoy performances in our unique child-sized theatre, view engaging exhibitions or participate in creative workshops. While our building currently remains closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are more determined than ever to continue to make and share great art, for, by and about children, in new and innovative ways.

We need your help!

By supporting #ARK25 you enable our vision of a society where all children have an equal right to a playful, happy and imaginative childhood. With your contribution, we will reach even more children from all backgrounds, whose access to arts and culture has become even more limited by Covid-19 restrictions.

Since closing our doors in March due to the Covid-19 crisis, we have had an incredible 14,000 digital engagements, through a mix of online schools and public workshops, streaming shows online, virtual events and installations, video workshops and at-home activity worksheets. As we face into an uncertain future, we want to continue exploring new ways to ensure that children of all backgrounds have the opportunity to engage with arts and culture in 2021 and beyond.

No matter the level of support, you will make a real difference in the lives of children who might otherwise miss out on valuable arts and cultural experiences.
