A father's love for his children is at the heart of this beautiful re-telling of the ancient tale of Clann Lir. Told mainly through Irish with puppetry, vivid imagery and enchanting newly-composed traditional music, this fairytale-like story of magical transformations will leave children spell-bound.

Tickets (schools performances) €6.50/€4.50 concessions for DEIS schools and schools travelling from outside Dublin
Tickets (family performances) €10/€8 concessions (adults and children require tickets)

Curricular links

Attending and reflecting on Clann Lir with your class will explore many of the key strands of the drama and Gaeilge curricula, both for schools where English is the medium of instruction and for scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge. These particularly relate to reflecting on drama and fostering the child’s enthusiasm for and enjoyment in using the language.
