Digging In & Getting Creative Ahead of Dublin Cruinniú

In this family workshop, children and their grown-ups worked with city greening experts Green Edge on ideas to transform The Ark building into a green space in Temple Bar, bursting with plant and bird life. Their garden ideas and artworks will be used to inform the design of The Ark's new green facade and the entrance garden which will be unveiled on 23 June as part of our events for Dublin City Council's Cruinniú na nÓg.

Cruinniú na nÓg is funded by Dublin City Council, Creative Ireland and RTÉ

Fun Size Jazz! May 7 2018

The Ark and Improvised Music Company have created a performance and artist developmental opportunity for established jazz and improvising musicians to support and encourage them to explore creating work for young audiences. Fun Size Jazz consists of 4 public shows where each show will consist of three different short work-in-progress performances by the selected artists, all tied together by our resident MC, musician and director Sam Kavanagh. Here are some pictures from the first two shows on May 7th. Photos by Kenneth Killeen.
