CPD for Teachers: Making Music Fun! 14 Apr 2016

Explore fresh and effective strategies for creating fun and accessible ways of teaching music in the classroom using the signature Graffiti Classics blend of humour and great music.

Irish musician Cathal Ó Dúill and his team of musicians will share with you their well-honed, easy methods to make classical music universally enjoyable for all ages.

Using a mix of demonstration and practical activities, the quartet will open up how you think about music and inspire new approaches, ideas and confidence in the delivery of classroom music. Fun ideas will be given which will help teachers deliver on the three music curriculum strands: Listening and Responding, Performing and Composing. This will include content on the string family, musical terms, dynamics, time signatures, rhythm patterns, composers throughout history and their musical styles.
