Design It: A Room of your Own 7 - 14 Nov 2015
Design and create your own 3D space as part of a newly designed city in this workshop for Ages 5-7. Part of Irish Design 2015.
In this session, artist Jane Groves will encourage you to create the realms of your imagination using a selection of found and recycled materials.
You are invited into The Ark’s evolving city of cardboard, a playful space where you can design and make a room of your own. What’s in your space? A bed? A wardrobe? A swimming pool? What place would you like to inhabit? A jungle room or a house full of clouds? Each child will be given a box to create a 3 dimensional living space using recycled materials which is then added to our growing city (and then taken home after).
When you finish designing you own space you can then add to our city, adding to the city streets, parks, museums or local zoo!
