Creative Composition in The Classroom 15 Nov 2014

Outstanding composer and music educator Brian Irvine will lead an energetic and dynamic CPD event to fill teachers with increased confidence and ideas for delivering the Composing strand of the music curriculum as well as being very relevant to Performing strand units.

Using the rich theme of Winter to generate ideas for songs and music, Brian will demonstrate how a theme can be a valuable springboard to creative music making in the classroom.

Brian creates a joyful and accessible atmosphere of experimentation and exploration in his workshops so teachers of all levels of experience will feel supported to take part fully and enjoy a day of creating completely new music together. There will be time for questions and support on any difficulties teachers may find with delivering this curriculum strand.
