Faces in The Window 2016 20 - 30 Mar 2016

One of the first ever projects to take place in The Ark when we opened in 1995 was called 'Faces in The Windows', where photographs of children were displayed in the windows of the building to show the world who The Ark had been created for.

Maybe you know one of the original children included?

In 2016 it’s our 21st Birthday and to celebrate this, we are going to re-create this iconic project and are looking for 264 children (one for each pane of glass) to have their portrait photograph taken by a professional photographer in The Ark’s theatre during Put Yourself in the Picture. As the programme goes on, the photographs will be proudly displayed in The Ark’s windows, creating a colourful photographic installation of the children of 2016.

All participants will receive a digital copy of their photograph!

The application process for Faces in the Window 2016 has now closed (closing date was 5pm on Tue 1 March). If you entered the draw, we will let you know by Mon 7 March if you have won a session.
