The Ark is delighted to welcome back the Animation Art Show - an art exhibition and auction in aid of Irish children's charities.

The Animation Art Show is a family friendly exhibition and auction of artwork donated by animation professionals and students. The proceeds of the event will go directly to Irish children's charities. Since the first auction in 2012, the event has raised over €55, 000!!

Some highlights from previous years have included a limited edition print from Cartoon Saloon’s Oscar nominated Song of the Sea, an original painting by Oscar nominated Director, Tomm Moore, as well as original production artwork from Thumbelina, All Dogs go to Heaven, The Rugrats, Care Bears and A Troll in Central Park.

Everyone is invited to pop in to The Ark and view the amazing artwork in the FREE exhibition over the mid-term break. If you see something that you like and you want to put in a bid, then come along to the auction on Sunday November 4th from 2pm- 6pm!

"The Animation Art Show auction is the culmination of a four day event exhibiting work by animation artists and illustrators in a variety of media such as paintings, prints, sculptures, plush toys, animation cels and more! There will surely be something to suit everyone's taste! Every single cent raised on the day will go directly to our chosen charities, Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland and The Ark."
