Join us for a special January coffee morning focusing on artists’ wellbeing, in association with First Fortnight festival.
At this dark time of year, if you are an artist interested in work with children, pop into The Ark for a welcoming cup of coffee or tea and a chat with other like-minded artists.
This event will be very relaxed - and there may even be cake! We welcome all artists, whether you are new to work with children or just curious, as well as those of you with more experience working with this unique audience.
There will be time to chat to other artists as well as some of The Ark and First Fortnight teams. First Fortnight will share some of their experience in the area of mental health as it relates to those working in the arts, in particular. Also in attendance will be organisations and artists involved in the PUSH+ Failure Residency, who have been exploring the theme of failure in their work for children.
No booking required. Just turn up - the kettle will be on!
The Ark runs free drop-in coffee mornings for artists three times a year so please feel free to come along to another one if you can’t make it this time.
