About Bethan...
Bethan Parkes is a visual artist practitioner, creative educator, and Creative Associate for the Arts Council’s Creative Schools initiative, with a wide variety of experience of working in community, educational and hospital settings, as well as the National Gallery of Ireland. Her creative practice is rooted in encouraging each person, no matter what age, to explore and express oneself and the world around us using creativity and the arts, believing creativity can inspire, challenge and shape us as we explore our everyday life, enabling us to discover, experiment and experience our sense of self, our sense of belonging and connection to others in a unique, distinctive and embodied form.
