Love is in the air! Press a button and experience sounds and songs recorded by hundreds of children through heart-shaped recording devices.
Love Song is a never-ending love story which has taken place in many locations all over the world. The installation is a project initiated by composer Serge Verstock, but the main participants are 200 heart-shaped recording devices, on which Irish children have recorded their own "love songs" in the form of a song, their favourite sound, a story they love, or in some other playful way. It’s an auditory encyclopaedia of love!
As part of BIG BANG Dublin! the foyer of The Printworks in Dublin Castle will be filled with hundreds of tiny heart-shaped devices. Walk through the installation, press your ear against a heart and listen to a love song.
