Are you a young reader? Feeling uninspired by your bookshelves at home? Then pop along to the Book Clinic! Free event for all ages. Part of International Literature Festival Dublin.
Parents and children are invited to drop in for an informal consultation with one of Children’s Books Ireland’s friendly panel of Book Doctors, ready to offer the best advice to the young readers in your family.
First families meet the Doodle Doctors, specialists in making the waiting room more fun! Then, when the Book Doctor is ready, the consultation begins. When the Book Doctor has made their diagnosis he/she writes a prescription for your local library or bookshop, and every patient leaves with their own personalised Reading Passport!
