Create your own nature mobile in this visual art workshop for Ages 5-7 with visual artist Aoife McCloughlin.
In this nature-themed workshop, you will create your own hanging collages inspired from the habitats of Puffin Rock.
Taking aspects of the marine, intertidal, grassland or wetland habitats, we will draw, cut and assemble our hanging pieces using different materials such as colouring pencils, paper, string and cardboard.
Once we have created our collages, you will be able to take them home to display indoors or outdoors!
About Aoife
Aoife McCloughlin is an arts worker and a visual artist with a practice in art education. Aoife regularly facilitates and supports visual art workshops at The Ark and at Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre. She has led workshops for primary school children as part of Sculpture Dublin's Creative Engagement Programme and assisted with art education events at the Chester Beatty Library. Aoife has an educational background in fine art sculpture and art history. She believes every child is an artist!
