Early Years Music:
Working with very young children

This is a practical session for professional musicians interested in working with children aged 2-6 year olds. Naheed Cruickshank will introduce suitable material for teaching pulse and rhythm to this age group as well as methods for teaching music which encourage and develop active participation, confidence and self esteem. A wide selection of props, puppets and percussion will be used.
