Early Years Workshop: Look at Me! 11 Feb - 18 Mar 2017
A fun and creative session with artist Jane Groves that introduces young children (Ages 2-4) to simple portraiture.
Jane will welcome the children into the workshop with an engaging story about a child who sees their own reflection in a pond for the very first time! What did they see? Maybe their round face, their curly hair, their brown eyes, their freckles or dimples!
This story will be followed by an interactive session where the children will participate in different activity areas using a variety of natural materials and mark making tools to create simple portraits.
This session encourages the children to explore their own individual facial features with the help of their accompanying adult, in a playful and relaxed environment.
