You've heard of Veterinarians, Dentists, Podiatrists, Surgeons … Medical doctors with specialities have special names. But, have you heard of The Lepidoctor? This is a doctor who mends and minds something very special indeed. In this visual art and storytelling workshop little ones will make and mend beautiful paper wings.
Injured moths and butterflies come from far and wide to The Lepidoctors studio, and we really need your help. Using tools and insider tips and tricks of the trade you will discover the art of constructing handsome and delicate wings. The butterfly doctor and their insect patients will be pleased to celebrate you as an honorary, lifetime member of The Lepidoctors Club.
About Duffy Mooney-Sheppard
Duffy is a visual artist, theatre maker and graduate of the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Arts. She weaves curiosity, fantasy, and nature into her workshops and has worked extensively with The Ark and other cultural institutions.
