Family Season 2015: Manxmouse 1 - 4 Oct 2015

The Mouse who knew no fear! This tale of an unlikely hero will show you just what can be accomplished with hope and a little bravery. Part of the Dublin Theatre Festival Family Season 2015.

Get ready to fall in love with a most adorable mouse! But Manxmouse is no ordinary mouse. He’s the strangest little mouse you’ll ever see, with bright blue fur, huge rabbit ears and a distinct lack of tail.

But Manxmouse doesn’t mind being different. A fearless adventurer, he sets out on an exciting journey, braving fearsome foxes, terrified hawks and dastardly pet-shop owners until, finally, he encounters his greatest foe… the Manx Cat!

This timeless tale of kindness, friendship, and bravery against all odds will capture the hearts of its audience with its imaginative use of found objects, puppetry, and music. Based on the beloved children’s novel by Paul Gallico, this moving and funny play about being different and facing your fears will resonate with kids and adults alike.
