How to Catch a Star 5 - 30 Dec 2018

We welcome Branar Téatar do Pháistí back to The Ark for the festive season with their gorgeous adaptation of Oliver Jeffers' best-selling picture book.

Once there was a boy who was always looking up. He dreamt of having a star as a friend. This is the story of his adventure.

Based on the beloved book by award-winning Irish author Oliver Jeffers, this adaptation combines puppetry with a magical original score by Colm Mac Con Iomaire. Directed by Marc Mac Lochlainn, Branar’s signature storytelling creates a show which reminds us all to follow our dreams. The perfect festive treat for ages 4+.

This is a nonverbal, deaf-friendly show.

Tráth dá raibh, bhí buachaill ann a bhí i gcónaí ag féachaint suas. Ba é rún a chroí réalt a bheith mar chara aige. Seo scéal a eachtra.
Tá ríméad ar Branar Téatar do Pháistí How to Catch a Star, bunaithe ar an leabhar clúiteach leis an údar Éireannach Oliver Jeffers, a chur i láthair os comhair an domhain.
San athchóiriú seo, stiúrtha ag Marc Mac Lochlainn, measctar an phuipéadóireacht le ceol nuachumtha draíochtúil ó Cholm Mac Con Iomaire. Cruthaítear seó le stíl scéalaíochta inaitheanta Branar, a mheabhraíonn dúinn uilig dul sa tóir ar ár mbrionglóidí.

Seó neamhbhriathartha. Léiriú feiliúnach do dhaoine bodhra.
