Digital Workshops for Schools: Tracks in the Snow 9 - 11 Dec 2025
Watch our music show Tracks in the Snow by The Henry Girls from the comfort of your classroom and then join artist Jole Bortoli for a visual arts workshop inspired by the show!
Looking at the themes from Tracks in the Snow, artist Jole will encourage children to create a wintery shadow collage scene inspired by the Aurora Borealis! Using paper and oil pastels, classes will create together a picture of a Winter Wonderland where a snowy landscape glittering with frost and icicles comes to life against the magical backdrop of the Aurora Borealis!
All required materials will be sent to the school upon booking!
Curricular Links
The Visual Arts curriculum will be covered through drawing, paint and colour, and print; explore and begin to develop sensitivities; explore the expressive and design possibilities of the materials; look with curiosity and openness at the work of a wide range of artists and craftspeople; experiment in spontaneous, imaginative and increasingly structured ways with a range of art materials. Also this show is an ideal opportunity to explore the Listening & Responding, Composing and Performing strand units of the Music curriculum. Experiencing this live music performance means children will see and hear outstanding Irish musicians performing brand new music on a range of instruments including piano, harp, voice, accordion, fiddle and double bass as well as percussion.
