Mask Making Workshop! 9 Apr 2022

Wearing and making a mask is like creating a window for people to see and observe a new character from the wearer! Have you ever wanted to make your own?

Join us for an imaginative and fun mask making workshop with visual artist and mask maker Carrie Lynam.

This hands-on workshop explores the use of colour, pattern, form and mask making techniques. You will construct a mask base through a series of material manipulation techniques, building their own individual forms to create truly unique artworks.

During this workshop Carrie will demonstrate a variety of new techniques, manipulating everyday materials, by curling, folding and crimping cardboard to build sculptural forms. This workshop promotes experimentation and play with everyday materials and is great for improving manual dexterity.
