ON DEMAND FOR SCHOOLS - Placards and Banners Workshop with Jane Groves 1 Nov - 31 Dec 2026
Take part in Placards and Banners with Jane Groves, a visual art workshop presented by The Ark and supported by INTO from the comfort of your classroom!
Join artist Jane Groves for this FREE digital workshop exploring how art can help with having your voice heard about things that matter to you! This is a companion workshop to the show The Making of Mollie* which premiered in The Ark in 2023.
During this workshop, Jane explores the importance of having your voice heard and standing up for things you believe in. She discusses some of her kid heroes who are making a difference around the world and making adults take notice. Through, drawing, cutting, sticking and the ever popular 'bubble-writing', Jane demonstrates how to make your very own banner or placard.
Bring the joy of the arts straight into your classroom – wherever you may be #artsforEVERYchild.
*The Making of Mollie is also available to stream for free, but don't worry - you don't need to have watched the show to enjoy this digital workshop. Click here for information on our show streaming.
