Schools Online Workshop: Head Start 9 - 20 May 2022

Join artist Jane Groves in this playful sculptural workshop ‘Head Start’. Children will be led through a discussion around hair and head gear, from Medusa to Samson, updoos to downdoos, we all want to make a head start!

Classes will be encouraged to create 3D sculptural head pieces, exploring knotting, plaiting, pleating, curling and scrunching using a variety of materials and techniques.

This workshop encourages creative self-expression and exploration of alternate self-portraits. This workshop also incorporates playfulness and imagination, while developing fine motor-skills and critical thinking.
