For Science Week 2024, come along to explore the weird and wonderful world of ‘creepy crawlies’ with wildlife expert Éanna Ní Lamhna and artist and illustrator Duffy Mooney Sheppard in a fascinating science-art workshop. For Ages 5-12
In this innovative and playful workshop we will challenge your attitudes and preconceptions about the incredible creatures we share our world with – including their characteristics, appearance and habits of the incredible creatures we share our world with. Through closer observation, discovery, drawing and fun facts, this workshop will grow your curiosity, and give you a better understanding of the everyday creepy crawlies.

Éanna will lead a thought provoking discussions about the usual and surprising characteristics of different invertebrates from buzzing bluebottles with taste buds on their legs to spindly spiders eating one another and snails that are both male and female! Then guided by Duffy, you will enjoy a series of creative drawing responses as you look at these creepy crawlies in a new light!
