What Secrets Lie Beneath?: Online Visual Art Workshops 6 Mar 2021

Taking inspiration from artworks in The Ark’s Winter Light exhibition, artist Duffy Mooney-Sheppard will take you on a short virtual tour of our Online Gallery, followed by a journey which will see you use your pencil as a shovel to dig your way through underground tunnels.

As spring arrives and the earth warms up, we wonder what is happening down beneath our feet? Under layers of soil, rock and sediment you may come across the unexpected deep underground, where creatures are stirring, trees are talking, and treasure awaits!

It’s a far way to go, but our drawings may just lead us to uncover the greatest mystery of them all - what really lies beneath our feet at the centre of the Earth.
