Sit for a Portrait 19 Mar - 3 Apr 2016

Every day an artist will draw portraits of a few lucky children in the portrait area where visitors will be able to watch these portrait sessions in action. Confirmed artists include: Brian Maguire, Blaise Smith, Conor Walton, Dorothy Smith, PJ Lynch & Una Sealy.

The finished artworks will be then be added to our ever growing Portrait Gallery wall and The Ark’s visual art collection. At the end of the programme, participants will receive a digital copy of their portrait!

Please note that you must be able to sit relatively still during the half hour session and the artist will ask you some questions to get to know you a little before they start to draw you!

The application process for Potrait Sessions has now closed (closing date was 5pm on Tue 1 March).If you entered the draw, we will let you know by Mon 7 March if you have won a session.
