Five-Day Summer Camps: Lego Animation 3 Jul - 4 Aug 2023
We welcome Brickflicks back to The Ark this summer with three brilliant five-day stop-motion animation summer camps using the theme of myths and legends!
Come along and learn how to make an awesome set, write a great short story and then turn it into a script. You will fine tune your animation skills and then film the results, adding cool sound effects and voice recordings for your characters. Over the week, the artists will share tips and techniques on scriptwriting, story-boarding, set design and filming.
The camp will be focused on developing your animation skills through hands-on learning and is perfect for beginners and seasoned stop motion film makers alike. You will work in groups so you will make lots of new friends – or maybe get your friends to sign up too!
Your completed movies will be shared on The Ark’s YouTube channel where you will be able to share them with all your friends and family.
All materials are supplied including the BrickFlicks mobile film studio kit of iPads & accessories and arts & crafts materials for sets. So all you need is your imagination and maybe your favourite LEGO mini figure to be one of the stars!
