Join us for a joyful, accessible experience where young voices take the lead in the world of art. Step into Voyages, a unique exhibition curated by children, for children.

Led by artist and collaborator Róisín White, a group of 12 young people took part in six creative workshops to explore The Ark’s visual art collection, learn about curation, and shape the final exhibition.

Voyages – a playful, inclusive exhibition curated by kids, for kids (and the young at heart!). Bursting with creativity and hand-picked artworks, it’s a celebration of imagination, curiosity, and what happens when young minds take the wheel

Róisín White
Róisín collaborates with young people to explore curatorial practice and storytelling through exhibitions. Her work focuses on reimagining history through art and creative education.

Curricular Links

The gallery and workshops encourage observational skills, creativity and imagination. The theme and inspiration of the exhibition can be integrated across all lessons, providing opportunities for self-expression, exploring, investigating, experimenting, inventing, designing and making.
