Far Away From Me at Draíocht, Blanchardstown 4 Apr 2015

Following a successful five week run at The Ark, we are taking Amy Conroy's new play out on the road across Ireland. First stop, Draíocht in Blanchardstown.

Far Away From Me is written by award-winning writer Amy Conroy and is inspired by the classic story of The Princess and The Pea. And when we say 'inspired by', we mean that the show takes the story as you think you know it, turns it on its head and flying through the air until it becomes a very modern, exciting retelling of the fairy tale world and characters of the original. Featuring the excitement of aerial performance, dance music and great storytelling, bringing your children to see the show is sure to give you a fun family arts experience!

Far Away From Me will be touring to six venues across Ireland this April, all supported by an Arts Council Touring Award.

The show can be seen at:

Draíocht Arts Centre, Blanchardstown (4 April)
Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge (7-8 April)
Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar (11 April)
Town Hall Theatre, Galway (12 April)
Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise (15 April)
Pavilion Theatre, Dún Laoghaire (16 April)
