Music and Colour: The Colours of Summer: 11 Aug 2015

Seeing music and hearing colours....did you ever wonder what red might sound like? When you hear a sound can you imagine it having a colour? A free performance for ages 4+.

Join visual artist Jole Bortoli and clarinettist Paul Roe for a live improvised music and visual performance that celebrates the colours and sounds of summer.

Jole will draw colourful images live on-the-spot while Paul makes up musical motifs and melodies in response to what he sees. Then watch and listen as they change places – with Paul playing the music first and then Jole painting her response in colours, lines and shapes right before your ears and eyes.

There may even be a chance for you to give your ideas or join in some of the improvised fun!
