Branar Téatar and Denmark’s Teater Refleksion have joined forces to produce The Way Back Home, based on the hugely successful book by Irish author Oliver Jeffers. Making its world premiere at the festival, this new show will combine puppetry, original music and the distinctive, evocative design of Teater Refleksion’s Mariann Aagaard to realise a beautiful and imaginative story on stage.

Autism Friendly Performance
There will be an autism friendly performance of The Way Back Home on 1 October at 10.15am. Autism friendly performances are aimed at families or school groups with children are on the autism spectrum or those who have sensory sensitivities. This will be a relaxed performance for the whole family, which will be tailored for the comfort of your child. The sound will be at a lower volume and the lights will be dimmed rather than a completely dark, we will warn you of any loud noises and we will have a special chill-out area where your child can relax.
