Tiny Tunes: Early Years Cabaret Performances 29 Oct - 5 Nov 2016

Cabaret queen Susannah de Wrixon faces her toughest critics yet as she sings from her charming collection of tunes for the under fives.

Songs old and new, songs short and sweet, perfect for little ones to tap their feet. If you're happy and you know it then come along and show it at the coolest cabaret for little people.

About Susannah de Wrixon...

Susannah is a singer and actor working in Ireland and internationally for the past two decades. As a singer she has recorded three albums: Pick Yourself Up, She Swims in the Sea and Skylark. Music performances include appearances with the National Symphony Orchestra, Dublin Fringe Festival, Opera Theatre Company, Fever (Irish and US tour), Kurt Weill Kaberet and Farewell Ella (Andrews Lane Theatre) and Pyjama Jazz (Tivoli Theatre). She was also a member of the comedy trio The Nualas and is known to Irish TV audiences for her roles in The Clinic, Fair City and Ballykissangel. She has also appeared on stage for The Abbey Theatre and numerous other theatre companies. Her life is made all the richer by her son Art who was the inspiration behind her pre-school album Tiny Tunes for Tiny People. This is her first time performing in The Ark.

About Derek Cronin...

Derek Cronin has performed, produced and recorded music in genres from classical through jazz & folk to pop, dance & rock. He currently works as Musical Director for acclaimed Irish vocalist Jack Lukeman. He is also well known as an arranger and orchestrator specialising in pop & rock music with commissions from RTE, IMMA and Enterprise Ireland amongst others. As a keyboardist and pianist he has recorded, toured and performed with acts including The Commitments, Donovan, Brian Kennedy, the Wolfe Tones, In Tua Nua and Westlife.
