School Workshop: Weird and Wonderful Wordplay 10 Nov 2023

Presented by The Ark in partnership with Dublin Book Festival, this workshop led by poet Thembe Mvula will inspire imaginations and foster a space for wellbeing.

In this one-off workshop, children from 5th or 6th class will experience a boost of creativity and compose writing that finds the extraordinary in the everyday.

Involving a mix of play, writing prompts and engagement with different styles of written and performance poetry, the session is designed to encourage confidence in reading and writing poems.
