This highly creative day for teachers will focus on one of the three main strands of the primary school music curriculum: composing. Composer and educator Brian Irvine will lead an energetic and dynamic day which will fill teachers with confidence, inspiration and ideas for creating brand new music from scratch in the classroom. Brian is a highly regarded composer with a passion for education. He has worked with children on a huge variety of music projects and performances, and many of his pieces are written specifically for children to perform.

Teachers of all levels of experience will be able to fully engage and enjoy this day of lively music-making. Those teachers who play instruments are invited to bring them, though this is not essential.
