Artist in Residence for The Children’s Council

Since Early 2016, our Children's Council have been mentored and guided by Shaun Dunne.
About Shaun Dunne
Shaun Dunne is a playwright and theatre-artist who merges testimony and documentary material with new writing. He works primarily with Talking Shop Ensemble and their work to date includes the multi-award winning Death of the Tradesmen and Advocacy. Other recent work includes The Waste Ground Party at the Abbey Theatre and THEATREclub’s The Game in Dublin Theatre Festival where Shaun worked as the key facilitator of the male volunteers. Shaun is currently artist in residence at The Ark, with responsibility for The Children’s Council. He is also working on new plays for The Abbey and Rough Magic. In 2017, he will present a new doc-theatre piece exploring HIV disclosure, stigma and empowerment called Rapids. @SeanieLove
