Make your own fun instrument out of surprising everyday objects and materials with Julio Calvo, a member of award-winning Argentinian band Los Musiqueros. Part of the Big Bang Festival of Rhythm 2015
Starting with a brief demonstration performance with several of these DIY instruments to inspire you, you will then be guided in making your own instrument. Finally you get to play your new instruments with other participants together as a temporary band. You’ll be amazed how good your new instruments can sound!
Come and see the type of instruments you make that morning being played by the band in their family performance later that day – you can even bring your own instrument with you and join in!
