School Workshops: Journey Beyond 23 - 25 Jun 2025
Join visual artist Róisín White for a hands-on creative workshop inspired by the Voyages exhibition.
After a visit to Voyages, our exhibition featuring artworks from The Ark’s collection (co-curated by children!), children will design and build their own imaginative boats, arks, and fantastical machines inspired by real journeys from the past and dreams of the future. Using repurposed materials, young makers will transform everyday items into extraordinary vessels for adventure.
This playful workshop invites children to dream big, create freely, and think about how stories of travel and transformation can come to life through art.
About the Artist...
Róisín White is a Dublin-based artist working in photography, sculpture, and ceramics. She creates visual stories from overlooked history and believes in learning through doing. She has over 10 years' experience facilitating children’s arts education.
