Does your child play an instrument? They could be the guest musician Big Free Family Outdoor gig on 7 April!

The Ark is delighted to present a first of its kind festival for Ireland, BIG BANG Dublin! A thrilling new music festival for young music lovers of all kinds from 5-7 April.

This festival will see The Ark building in Temple Bar transform into an adventurous musical labyrinth of delights for the ears as well as a number of events taking place outside and at other locations close by. Outstanding musicians will converge at The Ark to perform for children, their families and friends.

One of the major events in the festival will be The Big Free Family Outdoor Gig with Stomptown Brass which will take place on Sunday 7 April at 2.30pm in Meeting House Square.

Today The Ark announced that they are looking for a child (or a duet) to perform as a very special guest at this gig.

So if your child loves to play an instrument and would like to apply to be special guest at the gig here is what to do:

Go to the application form where you can upload a short (no more than 2-3 minutes) video of the child / children performing. The team at The Ark will look through all videos received and chose one young performer(s) to be very special guest at this gig and perform their piece of music on the stage at The Ark to the audience gathered in Meeting House Square.
