This festive season, following its hugely successful run in 2023, The Ark is proud to present The Giggler Treatment, a marvellous, mischievous new musical based on the novel by Roddy Doyle.
Back by popular demand, The Ark is excited to present The Giggler Treatment, a marvellous mischievous new musical for children aged 4+ and their grown-ups. We are very excited to reveal our brilliant ensemble cast of actors and singers who together will take on the roles of Mr. Mack, Kayla, Robbie, Rover the Dog, the Gigglers and more!
Shauna Harris

Shauna attended Visions Drama School and has appeared in Monsters in Dublin Fringe Festival 2024, Passports, Journey to X by Nancy Harris on the Peacock stage, in CoisCéim Dance Theatre's Dodgems and alongside members of Hot Brown Honey in the Dublin Fringe Festival Judges Choice Award winning Hive City Legacy: Dublin Chapter.
Leah Kavanagh

Leah trained at London College of Music. There she appeared in productions of The Addams Family and Sunday in the Park with George. Leah has recently returned from Cyprus where she was Lead Female Vocalist for SeaCruise UK.
Michael Tient

Michael Tient is an Actor from Ballymun and graduated from the BA in Acting course at The Lir Academy. His credits include: Orsino in Twelfth Night (THE LIR) Napoleon in History Play (PAN PAN) John Benno The First Bad Man (PAN PAN) Seargent in The Rising Of The Moon by Lady Gregory (Bewleys Cafe Theatre) And most recently he played Brendan/James in The Lieutenant of Inishmore (LIVERPOOL EVERYMAN).
Anne O'Riordan

Anne is a stage and screen actor from Waterford. She is a BA graduate of acting from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. On television, Anne has appeared in popular BBC series including Casualty, Call the Midwife and Doctors as well as The Clinic (RTÉ). Film work includes 32A (Janey Pictures). Some of her theatre credits include Strike (Southwark Playhouse), The Lonesome West (Royal Court Liverpool) and Gulliver’s Travels (Octagon Bolton).
Stephen O'Leary

Stephen trained at The Gaiety School of Acting. Stephen has appeared in tv shows such as Fair City, Smalltown and Can’t Cope Won’t Cope. He most recently appeared in Michael Winterbottoms feather film Shoshana. Some of his Theatre credits include Hangmen and The Field at the Gaiety theatre, The Summer I Robbed a Bank and Copper Face Jacks the Musical as well as being a part of The Gaiety Panto over the past 5 years.
