Pop-Up Poetry Participants Selected

Following our recent open call, Branar and The Ark are delighted to announce the selected artists who will take part in our upcoming Pop-Up Poetry artist development workshops at The Ark.

Pop-Up Poetry

Taking place on 21st and 22nd of August, the workshops will be led by Marc Mac Lochlainn, Artistic Director of Branar, and will support artists to play and explore the worlds and words of early years children through poetry, rhyme, nonsense verse and song.

We received a high number of applications and as a result we increased the number of places available in the workshops in order to extend the opportunity as widely as we could.

Sadly, we still couldn’t offer a place to everyone who applied, so we are now considering other ways and opportunities to meet the desire for artist development workshops of this kind demonstrated by high application level.

In the meantime, we hope all our selected participants have a wonderful time and find the experience beneficial for the development of their practice of writing for early years audiences.
